The Hygiene Bank
The Hygiene Bank provides toiletries and hygiene products to people experiencing hygiene poverty in the UK and Ireland.
People and businesses collect and donate new, unused and in-date hygiene essentials, beauty and personal-care products. Brands and retailers also give the Hygiene Bank unused or repackaged products. Volunteers sort the donations, which are then given to organisations that work directly with vulnerable and struggling people.
With public drop offs closed the hygiene bank are appealing for street donations - if you’d like to coordinate one for where you live they'd love to hear from you! At the present time it’s one of the best ways they can gather donations our charity partners so badly need, while maintaining social distancing. Visit the Facebook page here.

Coronavirus Response Fund
The Coronavirus Response Fund has launched to support local charities and voluntary organisations that are assisting some of Surrey’s most vulnerable people. It is thanks to the generosity of local donors that we are able to launch this new local response Fund, dedicated to Surrey. We are currently still seeking further support from our network of generous donors and supporters! If you would like to donate to support the Coronavirus Response Fund, you can do so here via the Fund’s Virgin Money Giving Page.

Visors for Care Givers - Churt, Haslemere, Farnham, Bordon & Hindhead
Visit this Facebook page for details of how thousands of facemasks are being make for local care homes, surgeries, hospitals and funeral parlours withing a 15 mile radius covering GRAYSHOTT, FARNHAM, BORDON, HASLEMERE, GUILDFORD, PETERSFIELD, LIPHOOK, GODALMING. They have put together a pack to help other people set up quickly and efficiently. Visors are simple to make with three component parts- a clear PVC sheet with corners that we round off, a piece of foam and elastic attached to it. They cost about 85p each to make and are a vital first defence against this indiscriminating virus. This group are helping to save the lives of the caregivers, their vulnerable patients and their family members to whom they could unwittingly pass it to.
Please help us by sharing widely and donating generously, even £5 will buy 6 visors as all the money raised is spent on materials with any surplus to the NHS.
