Music in the Meadow is returning to its usual Sunday afternoon slot

Various measures have been put in place to make the event COVID secure. Numbers are strictly limited, and you will need to pre-book a bubble for your group so that social distancing can be maintained.

Entry is still of course FREE, but due to COVID entry is limited and you are encouraged to 'book a bubble' via 'Eventbrite' in advance. The link to registering is here.

Bands and tickets

30 May – Eclectica. Tickets can be booked on Eventbrite from 14 May.

6 September – Vic Cracknell Swing Band. Tickets can be booked on Eventbrite from two weeks before the event.

13 June – The A Train. Tickets can be booked on Eventbrite from two weeks before the event.

20 June – Fabulous Funky Funks. Tickets can be booked on Eventbrite from two weeks before the event.

Refreshments

There will be a tea tent hosted by a local charity plus an ice cream van.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

BUBBLES:
Each group will have their own 'socially distanced' space. There are 3 different sized bubbles (for 2, 4 and 6) sprayed onto the ground.

TICKETS: Please register your bubble in advance. This will speed up entry and help with track and trace. On arrival, present your ticket on your phone (or printed), and a marshal will direct you to the are of your bubble size. You can choose your bubble. It is advisable to leave something on the bubble (that has no value, as we can't accept liability for loss) if you leave it to go to the park or get a drink or an Ice cream.

If there are any spare 'bubbles' that haven't been pre-registered we will be able to allow entry on the day to groups of people (maximum of 6 per group), although we are limiting the amount of bubbles.

ARRIVAL: Park opens at 1pm. Music starts at 3pm. Arrive via the Memorial entrance on South Street (this is to avoid queuing roadside). All of your bubble MUST arrive at the same time as the ticket holder. Your space will be reserved until 4pm. If you have not arrived by then and there are people waiting, we will give your space away.

Please do not mix with other bubbles, let’s keep it safe and have a good time!
